If in Doubt Lemon oil Will Help You Out

Lemon oil is known to have powerful antiseptic properties which make it wonderful for disinfecting in our home, particularly the kitchen and bathroom.

I often add a few drops of lemon oil to cleaning solutions for extra antiseptic germ killing properties. Mix a drop in a teaspoon of water & wipe the kitchen counter and cutting boards. It makes the kitchen smell fresh too. I add lemon oil to a spray bottle of water and spray surfaces in the bathroom and anywhere else I want to disinfect or deodorize. It also sanitizes the bathroom fixtures.

It is great for diffusing to purify and deodorize the air. If you don't have a cold diffuser, add a few drops of oil in a spray mister bottle with water and mist the air. Using 1-2 drops of Lemon oil works well in removing gum, oil and grease spots and shower doors.

Waste Disposals: A great way to freshen your waste disposal bin is to put your lemon or orange peels in it.

A few drops of oil may be added to the dishwasher to help disinfect and purify.

To clean hard floors, add 1/4 cup of white vinegar to a bucket of water. Then add 5-10 drops of lemon oil.

Use a drop of lemon to disinfect your hands after using public restrooms.
